Job summary

Henderson Group are recruiting a Kitchen Assistant for its EUROSPAR/TEXACO Doagh site in Doagh, Co. Antrim. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with shifts Monday to Sunday 6:00am–6:00pm and a degree of flexibility.

Pay ranges £12.10–£13.45 per hour, depending on age, plus great benefits. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, supporting movement, storage and rotation of goods, labeling and display preparation, and assist with stock control and ordering.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food production environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, labeling and shelf-life procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours across a 6am–6pm window.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods with attention to quality, date codes and shelf life.
• Rotate stock to use older products first and minimise waste.
• Assist Chef and Cook with ingredient prep and stock control.
• Help with ordering and stock management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of production areas and equipment.
• Ensure labels include use-by dates and prices are accurate.
