Job summary

Joybuy, the Europe-focused retail platform of JD.com, is seeking a Fresh Category Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end operations of the fresh produce supply chain across sourcing, packing, logistics, and distribution, ensuring quality and compliance.

You will coordinate with growers, packers, consolidators, freight forwarders, and retailers to maximize product availability and minimize waste, while driving continuous improvements and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in UK/EU fresh food, FMCG, or supply chain operations.
• Strong planning, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS and Excel or equivalent systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across sourcing, packing, logistics, and distribution of fresh products
• Coordinate with growers, packers, consolidators, freight forwarders, and retailers to ensure a reliable supply chain
• Monitor product quality, food safety, traceability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Plan inventory, replenishment, and demand fulfilment to maximize availability while minimizing shrinkage
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving issues
• Track metrics and drive continuous improvement across service levels, costs, inventory, and supplier performance
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with procurement, sales, quality assurance, and logistics
• Develop and maintain SOPs and implement process improvements
