About the role

We are seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and culture, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students in immersive language experiences. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Utilise various teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support for academic growth.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment encouraging participation and language practice.
  • Stay updated with trends and best practices in language education and incorporate them into your teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational experiences and participate in professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or related field.
  • Teaching certification/license in French or relevant subject.
  • Proven experience teaching French at secondary level.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in French.
  • Strong knowledge of French pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current in language education.

Requirements
