Salary: up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience, plus bonus

Main duties:

To take ownership of sales and increase revenue across the region

The role:

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, lead negotiations and close deals
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to final delivery
• Develop strong pipeline of new business to grow customer base and increase revenue
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop accounts further to increase sales
• Create and deliver strategic sales plans for the region to achieve growth targets
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs and suggest changes or new products accordingly
• Regular international travel required (up to 30% of the time)

Candidate's Profile

• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) – Essential
• Proven experience in B2B Sales or Business Development – Essential
• A strong understanding of international shipping operations and trade-related financial processes
• Knowledge of commodity trading and/or international trade would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• IT literate and confident
