Thorlabs is seeking an entry-level Accounts Assistant to support the UK/France Finance team in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, and Purchase Ledgers for Thorlabs SAS (France).

The role requires fluent French and strong Excel and D365 skills, with hybrid working from Ely and the option to work from home. You will handle invoicing, payments, and ledger reconciliations, contributing to month-end close and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High proficiency in French language is required.
• Prior experience in an Accounts department performing key responsibilities is desired.
• Intermediary Microsoft Excel and D365 skills are a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Sales Ledger: contact customers to ensure prompt payment and resolve queries.
• Sales Ledger: monitor electronic invoicing and match payments to invoices.
• Sales Ledger: issue credit notes and re-invoice as required; coordinate monthly statements.
