Job summary

University of Nottingham is seeking a part-time Teaching Associate to join the Language Centre in the School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies. The role focuses on teaching French at C1–C1+ level and coordinating related modules, with responsibilities for exams and assessment materials.

The successful candidate will have a Degree in French (or equivalent), native command of French, and a teaching qualification (PGCE/PGCHE or equivalent). Prior university teaching experience is preferred.

• Proven track record in university teaching of French.

Responsibilities

• Teach French language at C1-C1+ level.
• Act as Module convener for C1-C1+ French modules and contribute to development of modules.
• Produce written, oral, listening examinations and continuous assessment materials.
