Job summary

JobsinED is seeking a Languages Graduate Teaching Assistant (French) for a Good secondary school in Enfield, North London. This full-time role starts September, offering first-class classroom experience supporting KS3 and KS4 French and opportunities for paid teaching.

You will work with an inspirational Assistant Headteacher and SENCO, delivering targeted interventions and contributing to a teacher training pathway that could lead to becoming an MFL teacher. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must have a First or 2:1 degree in French or a closely related subject from a leading university.
• Outstanding GCSE and A Level results, particularly in French.
• Fluent French speaker with excellent subject knowledge.
• Aspiring MFL Teacher committed to teacher training and development.
• Right to Work in the UK – sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Support outstanding French lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver small-group and 1:1 French interventions.
• Assist with lesson planning and classroom resources.
