Sales Co-ordinator with Freight Experience

Full Time to work side by side with the Commercial Director.

Based on an average of 40 hours working predominantly Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm (shift patterns may vary depending on business needs).

We are recruiting a Freight Sales Co-ordinator for a multi-award-winning, dynamic, and fast-paced expanding logistics business with a strategic growth plan.

As the Freight Sales Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with carriers, reviewing market trends and rates.
  • Researching and developing new UK and international sales opportunities.
  • Maximising sales opportunities with existing customers across all modes of transport: air, ocean, and road.
  • Communicating with customers to build relationships and understand their business needs and requirements.
  • Reviewing emails with sales quotes, FCL, LCL, Road & Air.
  • Working closely with the operations team to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Maintaining systems and CRM.
  • Attending networking events to promote the business and build relationships.

Skills and experience required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Sales.
  • Experience with data freight or model trans is desirable.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A motivated attitude to contribute positively and constructively to the team.
