Job summary

Brooklyn Recruitment is recruiting a Freight Operator for a Haulage and Logistics company in the Burton-upon-Trent area. You will input customer orders, match them to transport solutions, and communicate schedules.

The role requires experience in freight operations and strong communication. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm with salary and bonus potential, pension, and other benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain profitable fleet of walking floor trailers.
• Receive customers' orders and input into the system.
• Match orders to transport solutions.
• Communicate schedules and any special requirements (PPE or security).
• Coordinate with the customs department where applicable.
• Flag non-conformance issues.
• Perform other duties as required.

Freight Operator - Haulage - Logistics - Burton

Brooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a Haulage / Logistics company based in the Burton-upon-Trent area of Staffordshire to recruit a Freight Operator.

• Ensuring that the fleet of walking floor trailers maintain profitability.
• Receiving customers' orders and inputting them into the system.
• Matching the orders to a transport solution.
• Communicating the schedule and any special circumstances such as PPE or security procedures.
• Where applicable working with the customs department.
• Flagging any non-conformance issues.
• Other duties as required.

To be suitable for this Freight Operator's role you should have previous operator's experience within the freight sector and be an excellent communicator.
