Job summary

Stafforce Ports is recruiting a Freight Forwarder for a full-time, office-based role in Warrington. Salary £30,000–£35,000 plus a performance bonus. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

You will manage UK and Europe road freight movements, coordinate import/export and cross-trade activities, arrange customs documentation, and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of European road freight operations.
• Experience managing cross-trade movements.
• Knowledge of UK and European customs procedures.
• Experience handling ADR or hazardous goods.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end road freight shipments.
• Coordinate import, export and cross-trade movements.
• Arrange customs documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and transport partners.
• Provide quotations and identify the most effective transport solutions.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any issues.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the transport process.
• Maintain accurate operational records and system updates.
