Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Freight Forwarder (Air & Sea) based in Stockport. The role offers £32,000–£42,000 plus a company bonus, progression opportunities, and 33 days holiday. Office-based position with training and occasional overtime.

You will coordinate Import and Export consignments, manage documentation, and liaise with airlines, shipping lines, and customers to meet KPIs. Sequoia experience is a plus, with training provided where needed.

Stockport- Office Based

Are you a Freight Forwarder or similar with Import or Export experience across Air or Sea Freight, looking to join a global logistics business offering clear progression into supervisory and management roles, alongside a company bonus to increase your earnings?

Established 10 years ago, this global freight forwarding and logistics business provides multimodal transport and supply chain solutions to major customers across international markets. The UK operation has grown rapidly since its launch and, as the business continues to expand, they are now looking to strengthen their forwarding department.

In this role, you will coordinate Import and Export consignments, working with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, customers and internal teams. You will manage documentation, coordinate collections and deliveries, maintain shipment data and ensure operations run smoothly and to agreed KPIs. You will use Sequoia to manage shipments, with training provided where required.

This role would suit a Freight Forwarder or similar with Import or Export experience within either Air or Ocean Freight. Experience across both modes is not essential, with training available on the other side.

The Role:

• Coordinate Import and Export shipments
