Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Freight Forwarding Coordinator in Manchester to coordinate Import and Export shipments across Air and Ocean freight, liaising with airlines, carriers and customers.

You will use Sequoia to manage shipments, work to KPIs and SOPs, with training provided and a clear progression path into supervision and management roles.

Qualifications

• Freight forwarding experience with import/export know-how.
• Experience across air or ocean freight operations.
• Ability to coordinate shipments with multiple stakeholders.

Are you a Freight Forwarding Coordinator or similarwith Import or Export experience across Air or Ocean Freight, looking to join a global logistics business offering clear progression routes, alongside a company bonus to increase your earnings?

Established 10 years ago, this global freight forwarding and logistics business provides multimodal transport and supply chain solutions to major customers across international markets. The UK operation has grown rapidly since its launch and, as the business continues to expand, they are now looking to strengthen their forwarding department.

In this role, you will coordinate Import and Export consignments, working with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, customers and internal teams. You will manage documentation, coordinate collections and deliveries, maintain shipment data and ensure operations run smoothly and to agreed KPIs. You will use Sequoia to manage shipments, with training provided where required.

This role would suit a Freight Forwarding Coordinator or similar with Import or Export experience within either Air or Ocean Freight. Experience across both modes is not essential, with training available on the other side.

The Role:

• Coordinate Import and Export shipments
  Manage Air and Ocean freight movements
