Job Title:Freight Forwarder - Operations Clerk

Location: Mountnessing, Essex CT15 0UG

Due to continued growth, Robert Kukla Spedition UK have an exciting opportunity for a Freight Forwarder to join their operations department, located in Mountnessing, Essex.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Robert Kukla Spedition UK Ltd is an international freight forwarding agent, who specialise in the logistics of Beers, Wines and Spirits.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations.
• Execute orders and coordinate with stakeholders such as suppliers and carriers to ensure prompt collection and delivery of shipments.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during shipment.
• Plan loads and negotiate rates with suppliers.
• Manage import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records, including transport arrangements, shipping tracking and invoicing.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to customers.

This position is ideal for someone who already has some experience in a Logistics environment and wants to progress their career.

Our ideal candidate for the Freight Forwarder role will have:

• A minimum of 1-2 years experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
• Full fluency in English.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and import/export documentation.
• Excellent time management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
