£36,000 + Benefits
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder looking to join a leading business who have just secured brand new offices in Birmingham City Centre?

Pertemps are exclusively representing a multinational 3PL provider with a strong reputation for delivering tailored logistics solutions to both blue-chip companies and SMEs. With a growing presence in Birmingham City Centre, they are expanding their team and looking for an experienced and motivated Freight Forwarder to join their fast-paced, dynamic operation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in freight forwarding across road, sea, and air freight, as well as customs clearance in the UK, Northern Ireland, and the EU. What You'll Be Doing

1. Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships
2. Coordinating shipments across sea, road, and air from collection to delivery
3. Managing documentation: Bills of Lading, AWBs, CMRs, invoices, and insurance certificates
4. Liaising with overseas offices and agents to ensure smooth operations
5. Handling customs clearance and compliance procedures
6. Monitoring profitability by managing costs and identifying efficiencies

What We're Looking For

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding
2. Hands-on experience in road, sea, or air freight operations
3. Confident managing shipments end-to-end, including billing and customs
4. Strong communication and organisational skills
5. A proactive, team-focused mindset with a passion for logistics
