Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a freelance Site Engineer to join the on-site engineering team in Calvert. The role involves directing junior engineers, setting out works and coordinating labour, plant and materials to meet programme and budget requirements.

You will liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman, monitor subcontractors and contribute to progress reports, resource and cost plans, and financial forecasting. A valid CSCS card and transport are required.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent, pursuing ICE membership.
• Proven site engineering knowledge with construction supervision skills.
• Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures or drainage.
• Must have own transport and full driving licence.
• CSCS White/White-Yellow/Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials.
• On-site setting-out and supervision of junior engineers.
• Contribute to programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans.
• Support financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure contract requirements.
