Job summary

EKFB is seeking a Site Engineer to join our Calvert-based engineering team on a freelance basis. The role covers on-site supervision of junior engineers and coordination with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to meet the required standards, programme and budget.

You will work with the setting-out team, resolve technical issues with the senior team, oversee subcontractors, ensure access to current information and support the production of programmes,

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Eng or equivalent; working towards ICE membership.
• Experience in site engineering with construction supervision
• Must have CSCS card and driving licence; own transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site activities and junior engineers.
• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials.
• Assist in producing programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans.
• Identify and resolve technical problems on site with senior team; coordinate subcontractors.
