About the Role

We are hiring a Freelance Repair Technician responsible for repairing faulty smart mirrors on an ad hoc basis. You will work closely with our CPO, collaborating with our highly accomplished team, each with prior successful exits. This role is highly fulfilling for those passionate about technology and innovation.

What is Involved

• Collaborate with our CPO and suppliers to diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
• Follow detailed procedures to replace faulty parts, such as motherboards, touch buttons, and cameras.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify other potential issues.
• Test each device thoroughly before reassembling and marking as resolved.
• Document learnings and share insights clearly with suppliers.

Requirements

• Experience in building or disassembling electronic devices like computers.
• Basic understanding of electronic components such as motherboards and power supplies.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Asana.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts and documenting processes.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Motivated and capable of working both autonomously and in a team.
