Job description

Gotyu Underwear, Germany’s fastest-growing brand for period underwear, is not only redefining comfort and confidence—but also how eCom teams scale. As we push into new markets and expand our impact, we’re on the lookout for a freelance recruiter who’s done it all in eCommerce: sourcing top talent, managing hiring pipelines, optimizing recruiting KPIs, and building high-performing remote teams across borders.

Tasks

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle for key eCommerce positions—from copywriters to operations managers to performance marketing leads.
  • Create compelling, performance-focused job descriptions and manage job postings across multiple platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Wellfound, Join.com, niche freelancer networks).
  • Build and execute sourcing strategies that attract top freelance and contract-based talent for global remote roles.
  • Work closely with our C-Level and team leads to understand hiring needs, define ideal candidate profiles, and align hiring priorities with our growth trajectory.
  • Screen and qualify candidates with business-focused, KPI-driven questions—no fluff.
  • Optimize recruiting KPIs like Time-to-Hire, Quality of Hire, and Candidate Experience.
  • Advise on HR matters such as drafting freelance contracts, onboarding best practices, and retention strategies for remote teams.
  • Improve employer branding in niche DTC circles through compelling outreach and candidate experience design.
  • Support in US-based hiring and leverage your existing network of freelance eCom professionals.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record recruiting for eCommerce/DTC brands (agency or in-house), ideally in fast-growth environments.
  • Deep understanding of key DTC roles and performance KPIs—from CAC to ROAS to retention metrics.
  • Experience recruiting for both freelance and full-time roles, with a special focus on contract/freelancer sourcing strategies.
  • You know what makes top talent say “yes”—and what keeps them engaged.
  • Excellent understanding of recruiting metrics
  • Experience writing sharp, clear job ads that convert and speak directly to target personas.
  • Bonus: HR know-how to support onboarding, freelancer contracts, and team development.
  • Strong grasp of sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, CRM, etc.) and a structured, data-first hiring approach.
  • Bonus: You’ve recruited in the US market and understand cultural nuances and compliance basics.
