Qualifications

• Create manual first patterns and amend existing patterns as needed.
• Experience with delicate fabrics like chiffon, silk, georgette, crepe, organza and satin.
• Work with draping, fabric manipulation and flat pattern making techniques.
• Follow designer measurements from design drawings or photographs.

Responsibilities

• Create patterns from client measurements per design or illustration.
• Collaborate with designers and seamstresses to ensure patterns match vision.
• Modify patterns for grading and bulk production.
• Assist with fittings to refine garment fit.
