Job summary

Dals is seeking qualified interpreters fluent in Tetun (Belo), Arabic (Moroccan/Tunisian/Algerian/Libyan), Polish, Romanian, Bengali, Albanian, Amharic and Bengali to support police, court and legal assignments across Cheshire.

As a freelance interpreter, you decide your working hours and the assignments you accept, giving you flexibility to fit around other professional and personal commitments. You must have the right to work in the UK and fluency in English plus at least one listed language.

Qualifications

• Qualified interpreters fluent in Tetun, Arabic, Polish, Romanian, Albanian, Amharic or Bengali to support police, court and legal assignments across Cheshire.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Fluency in English and at least one listed language is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between English and target language during justice sector assignments.
• Support communication in police, legal, court and public service settings.
• Deliver accurate, impartial and confidential interpretation.
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
