Job summary

Talking Heads in Sheffield is seeking freelance interpreters for Somali interpretation across South Yorkshire. We arrange an induction course for new interpreters and can coordinate DBS checks if needed. Roles involve interpreting at medical, social work, and legal appointments as required.

All interpreters should have access to their own DBS or be eligible for one; experience with Somali language is preferred to support diverse clients in the region.

Qualifications

Freelance Interpreters needed in South Yorkshire - Somali

Talking Heads is a growing language agency, based in Sheffield - we are looking to recruit interpreters for face to face interpreting work.

We work with a variety of clients needing interpreting services, which can vary between medical appointments, social worker appointments and legal interpreting.

All new Interpreters undertake our Induction Course. We also welcome experienced Interpreters with qualifications such as Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI.

A DBS check is required to work with us – if you do not have an up to date DBS, we can arrange one for you.
