Job summary

Talking Heads in Sheffield, UK, seeks freelance Lithuanian interpreters for in-person assignments across medical, social, and legal settings. Interpreters may join with or without prior DBS; induction is provided and qualifications such as Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI are welcomed. DBS arrangements can be made for you.

Qualifications

• Fluent Lithuanian with strong English listening and speaking skills.
• DBS check is required to work with us and can be arranged if needed.
• Experience in medical, social work or legal interpreting is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation between Lithuanian-speaking clients and service providers.
• Interpret across medical appointments, social worker appointments and legal settings.
• Complete our Induction Course before taking assignments.

Freelance Interpreters needed in South Yorkshire - Lithuanian

Talking Heads is a growing language agency, based in Sheffield - we are looking to recruit interpreters for face to face interpreting work.

We work with a variety of clients needing interpreting services, which can vary between medical appointments, social worker appointments and legal interpreting.

All new Interpreters undertake our Induction Course. We also welcome experienced Interpreters with qualifications such as Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI.

A DBS check is required to work with us – if you do not have an up to date DBS, we can arrange one for you.
