Job summary

Talking Heads, a Sheffield-based language agency, is seeking freelance interpreters for face-to-face work in South Yorkshire. You will interpret across medical, social worker, and legal appointments, with placements matching your language pairs, including Slovak and Czech.

All interpreters complete our Induction Course; DBS check is required (we can arrange one if you don’t have it). Experience with Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face interpreting work with diverse clients (medical, social, legal).
• Induction Course required for all new interpreters.
• Qualified interpreters with Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI are welcome.

Talking Heads is a growing language agency, based in Sheffield - we are looking to recruit interpreters for face to face interpreting work.

We work with a variety of clients needing interpreting services, which can vary between medical appointments, social worker appointments and legal interpreting.

All new Interpreters undertake our Induction Course. We also welcome experienced Interpreters with qualifications such as Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI.

Just let us know in your application what qualifications you have, so we can match you do appropriate work.

A DBS check is required to work with us – if you do not have an up to date DBS, we can arrange one for you.
