Job summary

Talking Heads, a Sheffield-based language agency, is seeking freelance interpreters for face-to-face interpreting work in South Yorkshire, including medical, social worker, and legal appointments.

New interpreters complete our Induction Course; experienced interpreters with Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI are welcome, and a DBS check is required (we can arrange one if you don't have one).

Qualifications

• All new Interpreters undertake our Induction Course.
• Experienced Interpreters with qualifications such as Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face interpreting for medical, social worker, and legal appointments.
• Attend induction course and maintain DBS compliance.
• Coordinate with clients to deliver accurate interpretation services.

Talking Heads is a growing language agency, based in Sheffield - we are looking to recruit interpreters for face to face interpreting work.

We work with a variety of clients needing interpreting services, which can vary between medical appointments, social worker appointments and legal interpreting.

All new Interpreters undertake our Induction Course. We also welcome experienced Interpreters with qualifications such as Level 3 Community Interpreting or DPSI.

A DBS check is required to work with us – if you do not have an up to date DBS, we can arrange one for you.
