Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to join at multiple locations across Great Britain. You will deliver a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses, mainly in category B vehicles (vans), at client sites countrywide.

Ideal candidates are ADI Fleet Trainers or NIR registered, with a proactive, inclusive teaching style, and comfortable delivering electric vehicle training.

Qualifications

• Accreditation as ADI Fleet Trainer or NIR registration.
• Proactive, engaging, inclusive training promoting safe driving behaviours.
• Experience delivering EV training; upskilling available for the right applicants.
• Professional delivery of safe driving presentations (PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Own laptop and printer; PDT provides course materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises.
• Complete accurate and timely assessment reports.
• Manage your diary and choose work days.
• Occasional weekend work at enhanced rates.
• Provide fuel supplements based on travel distance.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Benefits:

• Flexibility to choose which days you work (you will manage your diary).
• We offer £105 for half day courses and up to £210 for full day Monday-Friday.
