Job summary

Midnight Communications is seeking a freelance content creator to support social-first brand and live-event projects, starting with a food-led Midlands event. You’ll work independently on location, following a creative brief and capturing atmosphere, moments and personalities as they happen.

Travel expenses are covered, with potential ongoing freelance opportunities across client projects. The role requires experience in filming, editing and delivering high-quality social content to tight

Freelance Content Creator - Midnight Communications

We're looking for a freelance content creator to support a range of social-first brand and live-event projects, starting with a food-led event for one of our B2B clients.

This is an opportunity to build an ongoing freelance relationship with our agency, with potential to support future content across a range of brand activations.

The first brief will be hands-on, creating fast-paced content throughout the day. You'll be working independently on location, following a detailed creative brief from our team and capturing the atmosphere, personalities and standout moments as they happen.

What you'll be doing

• Capturing vertical photo and video content throughout
• Spotting moments that make great social content without being prompted
• Delivering reel-style videos optimised for LinkedIn and Instagram

We're looking for someone who…

• Has experience creating social-first content for brands
• Can confidently film, edit and deliver high-quality social content to a tight deadline
• Has a strong eye for storytelling and composition
• Is confident approaching and directing people on camera
• Can work independently while representing our agency professionally
• Is reliable, organised and calm in a busy live-event environment
• Has their own camera and audio equipment suitable for professional social content
• Has experience covering food, hospitality, lifestyle, workplace or live-event content
• An understanding of LinkedIn alongside Instagram and TikTok content
