Safer Communities Limited seeks a dedicated role focused on supporting fraud victims and helping recover losses. The role involves home visits, liaising with financial institutions and the Financial Ombudsman Service, and working with local policing and trading standards teams.

The position is fixed term to 31 March 2028, with agile working arrangements including home working and agency collaboration. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential, with DBS checks and driving license

Competenze

Experience or exposure to operational financial crime or related field.
Understanding of the impact of fraud on victims.
Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Integrity, initiative and commitment in all interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good organisational and administrative skills.
Computer literacy including spreadsheets and word processing.

Mansioni

Work with fraud victims to help recover money, acting as their agent with financial institutions or giving relevant recovery advice.
Collaborate with Victim Care, Mentor Service and Trading Standards teams to support fraud victims.
Review Report Fraud data and police reports to identify recovery opportunities for victims.
Conduct home visits to support victims, advocating with banks and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Attend public and professional meetings.
Undertake supervision and relevant training as required.
