Role Overview

Our client is seeking a PIP Level 2 qualified investigator to join their Fraud Investigation Team. This role involves conducting serious and complex investigations, interviewing victims, witnesses, and suspects, and preparing case files in line with legal and procedural requirements.

As part of a development commitment, successful candidates will undertake the Specialist Fraud Investigator (SFI) course (delivered in London) and complete a portfolio, leading to nationally recognised certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage fraud investigations in line with serious and complex case procedures
• Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects
• Prepare case files adhering to CPIA 1996 and Victims Charter
• Complete SFI course and qualification requirements
• Maintain accurate and detailed investigation records
• PIP Level 2 qualification (applications without this will not be considered)
• Understanding of the Criminal Justice System and relevant legislation
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Experience in investigative or public-facing roles
