Leicester's premier franchised main dealer is expanding its aftersales team, seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to service high-profile models and carry out warranty work. You will benefit from funded factory training, advanced tooling, and a clear path to Master Tech status.

The role focuses on routine servicing, recalls, diagnostics, and quality reporting under brand guidelines, with a Monday–Friday schedule, some Saturday rotation, and a strong earning potential through uncapped

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served credential).
• Active MOT Tester accreditation is a strong asset for starting pay, but not essential to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine manufacturer-scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and detailed vehicle health checks (VHC).
• Complete official warranty repairs, recall updates, and mechanical teardowns to strict brand guidelines.
• Utilize official dealer diagnostic software to systematically trace and resolve engine, electrical, and software faults.
• Document accurate technical reports on digital job cards and interface with service advisors regarding repair timelines.
• Maintain clean working areas and enforce health and safety regulations at all times.

• Salary Range: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + uncapped monthly productivity scheme

• MOT Status: Active MOT Tester accreditation is a strong asset for starting pay, but not essential to apply
• Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
