Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic in Coventry to join our aftersales team. You will perform routine servicing, warranty maintenance, recalls, and fault diagnosis on a modern vehicle lineup to manufacturer standards.

The role requires NVQ/IMI Level 3 in LVMR, a full UK driving licence, and own hand tools. DVSA MOT card is an asset. Training opportunities include official manufacturer academy pathways and EV/Hybrid certifications.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served credential).
• Proven track record in a franchised dealership or fast-paced workshop setting focused on quality and efficiency.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and recalls to manufacturer standards.
• Perform official warranty maintenance and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Diagnose faults systematically across a modern high-tech vehicle lineup.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + uncapped monthly efficiency bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair rotating rota basis
