Job summary

DFS Furniture PLC in Somercotes is seeking a Frame Assembler to join our production team. You will assemble furniture frames using hand and power tools, reading production specs and ensuring quality at each stage.

The role offers a 4-day afternoon shift, 39 hours per week, with a paid training period and potential earnings up to £40k per year through piecework. We provide holidays, pensions, healthcare, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in furniture manufacturing or similar production environment.
• A positive approach with teamwork and good communication.
• Ability to follow instructions and use hand/power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble frames using hand/power tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Read and apply production specifications for accuracy.
• Perform quality checks on each frame before progressing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Support colleagues and help meet daily targets.
