Job summary

DFS Trading Ltd is seeking a Frame Assembler to join our production team at Somercotes, UK. You will assemble furniture frames using hand and power tools, following drawings and specs to ensure high quality. The role offers a 4-day afternoon shift, a three-day weekend, and a range of employee benefits.

Initial training leads to performance-based pay with earning potential. You will work 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with specific afternoon hours, and enjoy generous holidays and

Qualifications

• Experience in furniture manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Ability to follow work instructions and production specifications accurately.
• Good manual dexterity and eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture frames using hand tools, power tools, jigs and fixtures following established processes.
• Prepare materials and components for each product.
• Read and follow production specifications to ensure accurate frame building.
• Perform quality checks and report damaged materials or equipment issues.
• Work safely, use PPE, keep the area clean and organised.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production targets and reduce waste.
• Support continuous improvement and flex to help other production areas.
