Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is recruiting Band 6 physiotherapists to join the Frailty Physiotherapy Service. The post is based in the ageing and health wards at Forth Valley Royal Hospital with potential cross-system work as services evolve.

You will perform initial assessments and deliver targeted physiotherapy, with emphasis on prevention of admission and discharge planning. The role requires HCPC registration and mobility across the Forth Valley region.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration.
• Experience in physiotherapy assessment and treatment of frailty.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out initial assessments and plan treatments for frail patients.
• Deliver treatment and discharge planning to prevent unnecessary admissions.
• Contribute to service development and cross-system pathways within NHS Forth Valley.
• Be flexible with 5/7 working patterns and on-call respiratory duties.
