Job summary

PRATAP PARTNERSHIP LTD is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its senior leadership team in West Yorkshire. The role combines strong financial control with active business partnering across operational teams.

The successful candidate will lead the finance function, enhance management information, forecasting and reporting, and drive cash management and controls while supporting growth and strategic investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Finance Director, Head of Finance or senior Financial Controller within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, margins, stock and working capital.
• Experience improving management information, forecasting and financial reporting.
• A commercial approach, with the ability to challenge and support operational leaders.
• Strong cash management and financial control.
• Experience assessing CapEx, investment and return on investment.
• The ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and financial visibility.
• A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style and the credibility to operate as part of a senior management team.

We are working with an established, successful manufacturing business in West Yorkshire to identify an experienced Finance Director to join its senior leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused and hands-on finance leader who enjoys working closely with operational teams and can combine strong financial control with genuine business partnering. The successful individual will take responsibility for the finance function while playing a key role in supporting the wider business as it continues to develop and grow.

We are particularly interested in speaking with people who can demonstrate:

• Previous Finance Director, Head of Finance or senior Financial Controller experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, margins, stock and working capital
• Experience improving management information, forecasting and financial reporting
• A commercial approach, with the ability to challenge and support operational leaders
• Strong cash management and financial control
