Acuity Associates is seeking an experienced Fractional CFO to support its growth across multiple sites from Glasgow. The role demands a strategic thinker who provides clear financial guidance while strengthening systems and processes to enable the business’s ambitions.

You will oversee cash flow, lead forecasting and risk management, and professionalise finance functions in preparation for future fundraising, potential M&A activity and an eventual exit.

Acuity Associates has been appointed by a growing, multi-site organisation seeking an experienced Fractional CFO to support its next stage of expansion.

The role will suit a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, who can provide clear financial guidance while strengthening the systems and processes needed to support the business’s future ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage cash flow across multiple sites, ensuring clear visibility of the organisation’s financial position and funding requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on financial planning, forecasting and risk management to support sustainable growth.
• Professionalise financial systems, processes and controls, establishing consistent reporting and a finance function that can support continued expansion.
• Develop robust financial reporting, models and supporting documentation to prepare the business for future fundraising, M&A activity and an eventual exit, ensuring readiness for investor scrutiny and due diligence.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or senior finance leader, ideally within a multi-site business.
• Strong expertise in cash flow management, financial planning and forecasting.
• A track record of improving financial systems, processes and controls within growing organisations.
• Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to combine strategic advice with practical delivery.
• Experience supporting fundraising, M&A or exit preparation would be advantageous.
