Job summary

NES Fircroft is partnering with a major Oil & Gas operator to source an Onshore & Offshore Construction Lead for a major FPSO development. The role is based in London with the project elsewhere in North America and a 12-month contract outside IR35, working Monday–Friday in the office with travel as needed.

The successful candidate will lead the onshore construction and offshore execution scope from fabrication through sail-away and hook-up, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget targets while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering — Naval Architecture or Structural Engineering preferred.
• 25+ years' experience in offshore oil and gas, with senior construction leadership.
• Excellent English communication and global interfacing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore hull, topsides construction, and offshore execution for FPSO from fabrication to sail-away.
• Direct offshore installation, hook-up, and commissioning support ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Manage interfaces across hull, topsides, mooring, SURF, drilling/subsea, and third-party vendors.
