Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced FPGA and Firmware Engineers for current and upcoming opportunities across the UK Defence and Aerospace sector. These roles involve working on complex, high-integrity, safety-critical systems and guiding FPGA designs through the full development lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have FPGA design with VHDL/Verilog, experience with Xilinx/AMD devices, DSP, embedded systems and hardware/software integration.

Qualifications

• FPGA design and development experience.
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Knowledge of Xilinx/AMD FPGA technologies is desirable.
• Experience with TCL scripting.
• FPGA simulation, verification and validation skills.
• Exposure to PCIe, Ethernet and/or JESD interfaces.
• Strong DSP and embedded systems understanding.
• Hardware/software integration experience.
• Experience in requirements capture and design documentation.
