Job summary

Riverlane Ltd in Cambridge is seeking an FPGA Engineer to bridge the gap between customers and their quantum systems. You will configure Deltaflow Hardware, ensuring low-latency, high-throughput connections essential for quantum experiments.

The ideal candidate has experience with FPGA platforms, proficiency in SystemVerilog or VHDL, and strong communication skills. This role offers a hybrid working environment and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience with state-of-the-art FPGA platforms such as AMD/Xilinx MPSoCs/RFSoCs.
  • Experience in writing SystemVerilog or VHDL.
  • Curious nature and a passion for learning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Configure Deltaflow Hardware to connect Quantum Computers.
  • Write RTL to adapt to customer control systems.
  • Host Technical Workshops on Riverlane's QEC Interface.
  • Report issues and help replicate setups with the QA team.

Skills

Experience with state-of-the-art FPGA platforms
Experience in writing SystemVerilog or VHDL
Good knowledge of Python and C++
Proven capability to test, debug and improve UVM Verification Environment
Excellent communication skills

Education

PhD in a relevant subject
