Job summary

Finova is seeking an FP&A Transformation Lead for a 6–12 month fixed-term engagement in London. The role focuses on redesigning budgeting, forecasting, cash planning and workforce cost modelling with hands-on data work and change management.

You will design and embed new data, systems and reporting, delivering quick wins and a durable process that the business can run after engagement ends. Hybrid work with three days onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience redesigning budgeting and forecasting processes within a business.
• Proven ability to build budget files and forecasting tools used by budget holders.
• Experience in workforce planning and cost modelling with impact analysis.
• Hands-on data cleansing, mapping and structuring data for reporting.
• Designing and maintaining clear cost ownership allocation processes.
• Translate complex finance concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Improve reporting accuracy through repeatable processes for non-finance teams.
• Strong understanding of tech, data, systems and process design.

Responsibilities

• Design data pipelines that populate reporting packs with minimal manual effort.
• Create user-friendly forecasting files for budget holders.
• Redesign cash forecast inputs for easy maintenance and data feed from source systems.
• Define durable cost ownership allocation processes with clear ownership.
• Structure data to enable workforce planning and dynamic cost modelling.
• Develop repeatable variance capturing and commentary processes for business users.
• Act as internal consultant and change agent to drive adoptions.
• Apply 80/20 approach to deliver quick impact and refine later.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation in FP&A tasks.
• Prepare documentation and handover plans to ensure business-as-usual once engagement ends.
• Handle other FP&A projects as needed.
