Job summary

Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Head of FP&A on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Liverpool City Centre, hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days at home) and a salary of £70,000 - £80,000.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and financial modelling, partnering with senior stakeholders to shape strategy and drive growth. This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and an opportunity to

Qualifications

• Significant FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering experience.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• Track record leading budgeting and forecasting in a complex organisation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive and commercially focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Produce board packs, management reports and performance analysis.
• Deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop financial models to support investment decisions and business initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across forecasting, reporting and planning processes.
• Partner with operational leaders to challenge performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Monitor business performance against key financial and operational metrics.
• Support strategic projects, commercial evaluations and transformation initiatives.
• Lead scenario planning and risk analysis to support decision-making.
• Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
• Build strong relationships across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and business performance.
