Job summary

Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Head of FP&A on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Liverpool City Centre, hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days at home) and a salary of £70,000 - £80,000.

• Significant FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering experience.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Produce board packs, management reports and performance analysis.
• Deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop financial models to support investment decisions and business initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across forecasting, reporting and planning processes.
• Partner with operational leaders to challenge performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Monitor business performance against key financial and operational metrics.
• Support strategic projects, commercial evaluations and transformation initiatives.
• Lead scenario planning and risk analysis to support decision-making.
• Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
• Build strong relationships across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and business performance.

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded organisation to recruit a Head of FP&A on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Based in Liverpool City Centre, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a high-performing finance leadership team and play a key role in driving business performance through strategic planning, insightful analysis and effective financial decision-making.

This position offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy during an important period of growth and development.

The Opportunity

• A track record of leading budgeting and forecasting processes within a complex organisation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
