Job description

Are you a motivated, highly skilled FP&A specialist ready to join our Group FP&A Team? This exciting and challenging role will be for a 10-12 month Fixed Term Contract and will provide you with the opportunity to learn about our business, gaining valuable experience and insight.

You will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis and second-line assurance of divisional financial information, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data and forecasts across the organisation and alignment to organisational strategy. This is a key role in our performance management, planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting team, requiring a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication of complex findings.

This team will utilize advanced modelling techniques to build cost, revenue, and cash flow models to support performance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

What you will be doing as FP&A Senior Analyst
  1. Conduct comprehensive analysis of divisional financial data to identify trends, correlations, cost drivers, anomalies, and insights.
  2. Develop and implement data models based on critical cost drivers, correlations, algorithms, and statistical methods to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  3. Perform data validation and assurance activities to ensure the reliability of financial forecasts and results.
  4. Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to present financial data and insights to stakeholders.
  5. Standardize and automate analysis and assurance tools, with a focus on stress testing and building forward-looking models and forecasting capabilities.
What you should bring to the role?
  • Proven FP&A experience with strong analytical skills, preferably in a financial or corporate environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a curious and creative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to explore patterns and extract insights.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of financial principles, practices, and reporting standards is highly desirable. Experience in analyzing and reporting cash flows is a plus.
  • A passion for staying updated with the latest in data science, financial analysis, and related technologies.
  • Experience with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
