Job summary

Whitbread PLC is seeking a Business Analyst to join the FP&A & Corporate Finance team in the UK. The role focuses on translating long‑term plans into budgets and forecasts, developing site modelling, and delivering insightful reports for senior stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will be a qualified accountant with strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills, capable of analysing data across multiple sites (UK and Germany) and building robust planning models.

Qualifications

• Qualified in or equivalent to CIMA/ACCA/ACA with a degree.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strong modelling skills and ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group budget, forecasting and five-year planning across the UK and Germany.
• Review financial outputs, analyse variances and model scenarios to test robustness.
• Enhance site and Germany planning models, improving processes and reporting outputs.
• Provide timely reporting to senior stakeholders and KPI reporting.
• Support corporate projects and ad-hoc analysis to improve FP&A processes.
