Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Performance and Reporting Analyst to join the FP&A & Transformation team in Leeds. You will support cross-functional teams with accurate financial reporting and analysis to drive profitability.

You'll build robust reporting, reconcile balance sheets, and contribute to month-end close. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI are essential; ACCA/CIMA/AAT or a finance degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA or AAT, or educated to degree level in finance or accounting, with the intention to continue studying.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query and data modelling is desirable.
• Experience with accounting software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear, robust and insightful reporting that provides a detailed understanding of business performance.
• Build relationships between Finance and other departments to manage key workflows effectively, meet deadlines and identify opportunities to improve processes and decision-making.
• Represent Finance in reporting, analysis and review processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, commercial sales data reconciliation, process improvement and data integrity checks, and month-end close.
• Complete month-end activities within your area of responsibility to agreed deadlines, providing commentary to explain performance and variances.
• Take ownership of completing accurate balance sheet reconciliations in line with financial controls.
• Provide other finance-related support and undertake project work as required.
