  • Partner with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Identify and analyse variances between actual results and budget/forecasts, providing insights to management.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the company’s strategic initiatives. Provide financial analysis and support for business development opportunities, including potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Assess and model the financial impact of strategic decisions and new business initiatives.
  • Provide strategic support on Corporate Development activities such as M&A, Joint Ventures and fundraising

Business Partnering:

  • Support operational decision-making through data-driven financial analysis and insights.
  • Foster a culture of financial accountability and cost management throughout the organisation.
  • Enhance and streamline financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and tools as needed
  • Familiarity with Anaplan would be advantageous

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with financial software and ERP systems (Anaplan, Netsuite experience desireable)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Stock options - we succeed and fail together as a team, so we want you to be included in our success
