Job summary

Oliver James is partnering with a leading insurance business to hire a qualified accountant for the Commercial Reporting & Analysis team, aiming for progression into FP&A, analysis and commercial decision-making.

The role covers management and performance reporting, financial and variance analysis, and supporting executive reporting, turning data into actionable insights while collaborating with Finance, Actuarial and other stakeholders. Advanced Excel and Power BI experience would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
• Insurance experience - Lloyd's or General Insurance.
• Strong financial reporting / management reporting background.
• Good understanding of financial analysis and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel.
• Commercially minded and interested in developing an FP&A skill set.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Power BI / reporting automation experience would be beneficial.
