Job summary

Google Finance in the UK and Ireland seeks a Financial Analyst to support the UKI team with advanced quantitative analyses and strategic insights. You will partner with cross-functional colleagues to drive informed decision making at the VP/Director level.

You will own data infrastructure, build scalable dashboards using SQL and visualization tools, and help automate core finance processes to enable an AI-first finance function across Google’s EMEA business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.
• 4 years FP&A experience.
• Experience with full-cycle FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling in a multinational company.
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sophisticated quantitative analysis to explain business drivers, revenue trends, and risks.
• Own the market's data infrastructure using SQL and existing sales tools to build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards.
• Drive efficiency and accuracy in critical finance processes including weekly trading reviews, annual planning, quota setting, and OpEx management.
• Identify manual bottlenecks and implement automated solutions (using SQL, Python, or AI tools) to improve reporting quality.
