Job summary

Google is hiring a Financial Analyst to support the UK & Ireland (UKI) finance team. You will perform sophisticated FP&A analyses, build models, and partner with sales and cross-functional teams to provide strategic insights that influence leadership decisions.

You will navigate large datasets, develop scalable reporting, and help automate core financial processes while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced, global tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in FP&A, consulting, or related function.
• Experience with full-cycle FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, modeling.
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sophisticated quantitative analysis to explain drivers, trends, and risks for decision-making at VP/Director level.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards using SQL and sales tools for scalable insights.
• Drive efficiency in finance processes like weekly reviews, planning, quota setting, and OpEx management.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement automated solutions (SQL, Python, AI) to improve reporting speed and quality.
