Role Overview

As FP&A Analyst, you will support the Retail Finance Business Partner in preparing financial reports, analysis, and forecasts, ensuring strong financial controls and critical evaluation in processes.

This role involves supporting a department during a transitional regulatory period, engaging with senior internal stakeholders, and may require travel to Reading.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support budgeting and forecast cycles, including rolling forecasts and IBP.
2. Create high-quality reports and analysis to inform decision-making.
3. Manage relationships to understand and communicate performance drivers.
4. Analyze P&L and balance sheet, identifying risks and opportunities.
5. Contribute to finance initiatives and handle ad-hoc queries.
6. Present findings to senior management.
7. Collaborate with finance teams to meet forecast and budget requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills for liaising across all levels.
• Experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Attention to detail, proactive, and ambitious.
• Experience with SAP & HFM preferred.
