FP&A Analyst

Location: St Albans, GB

Based - St Albans, AL1 2RE (with hybrid working)

Salary + car allowance + bonus + private medical insurance

Premier Foods is a fast paced and complex business, overseeing a P&L with a turnover > £1bn, ensuring strong financial control within our reporting. The key focus is to deliver improved business reporting and analysis; supporting consolidation and internal analytics improvements.

Working under the guidance of the Reporting & Simplification Manager, you will provide clear, accurate information to the wider finance and commercial teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Articulating and demonstrating performance drivers, risks, and opportunities using strategic financial analysis.
• Supporting integration, forecast, budget, and strategic planning processes; leading when appropriate.
• Identifying simplification opportunities within reporting across UK and International teams, and working to modify reporting and processes to ensure simple yet accurate financial information delivery, including rigorous change and stakeholder management.

This team is central to our understanding of the P&L, utilizing data and trends to provide insights or highlight areas requiring further analysis, collaborating with the finance team to produce these insights.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA finalist or newly-qualified
• Strong Excel modelling skills and problem-solving ability
• Ability to deliver accurate, flexible models with financial control
• Strong team player, capable of working across all finance areas
• Proven experience in driving change and improvements within similar roles
